Why you should choose Rymote for your installation.
*Spoiler alert: We're local. We're very good at what we do. We care.
We are on a mission to get North East communities connected to ultrafast broadband.
We are based in the region, our workforce is drawn from the region and we are passionate about, quite literally, bringing it up to speed.
The North East was at the centre of the first industrial revolution when the invention of trains revolutionised communications.
Hundreds of years later we don’t want our region to miss out on the exciting next stage of mass communications and, as a company, we’re big enough to deliver and small enough to care.
Because every small, rural community is different, every project is different and Rymote designs a bespoke solution which best services the needs of the individual group that wants it.
We work with voucher scheme applicants to provide a new full-fibre broadband network that everyone benefits from.
How we work
We combine complex systems into easily-managed, scalable business assets.
A typical customer journey follows four steps:
Situation Analysis– By consulting with you and understanding your business, we start to appreciate your objectives and challenges.
Technical recommendations – Based on our discovery phase, we apply what has been learned to a set of well thought through recommendations.
System design – We provide options. There are many ways to achieve an outcome and we give you choice.
Delivery and support – We will be with you every step of the way. For day-to-day support and advice, we’re only a call away.
Director – Al Yong
Al Yong – Rymote
Al Yong founded Rymote in 2012 after more than two decades immersed in the information technology industry, including time spent at BT Global Services.
He left to set up his own company because he was looking to provide a service which had all the expertise and excellence you would expect of a corporate but capable of being delivered with the customer-care standards more associated with a nimbler organisation.
Al said at the outset: “Rymote’s goal will be to simply develop partnerships with its customers which will help them grow and meet their own changing business objectives.”
That’s an ethos that guides everyone at Rymote as much today as it did when the company was founded.
As a company, Rymote is very keen to show corporate social responsibility and we have chosen to do that by supporting the work of CPRE, the countryside charity, (formerly the Campaign to Protect Rural England).
It makes sense to us that as Rymote delivers superfast broadband to rural communities across the North East countryside we also work to ensuring the environment is protected.
We improve your broadband without environmental damage and for every install we carry out, we donate to CPRE’s Durham or Northumberland branches.
“For the hard-working businesses and people of County Durham and Northumberland, who deserve life-changing broadband, our full-fibre gigabit broadband products deliver fast, reliable rural and urban internet access services. We want to unlock the full range of content and capabilities that the digital age offers to help the North East reach its potential.”
